We are looking for a volunteer to help us for a one-time creation of a boilerplate grant proposal template.

We provide trauma therapy for free and very low cost and we provide antiracism engagements. It has been really difficult for us to find and apply for grants due to the nature of our and the antiracism being controversial for some. We would benefit from a volunteer who has grant writing experience and who has a passion for equity to assist our current volunteer who has been managing researching and applying for grant opportunities.

If we do not get some grant funding, we will not be able to live into our mission. We provide trauma therapy on a sliding scale that starts at $0 because we know that there are many trauma survivors who cannot access high-quality care due to financial constraints. We want to make sure everyone has access to high-quality care and can heal from the traumas they have experienced. While we have been successful thus far with donations, if we want to stop being the adorable cat hanging in there, we need grants to sustain us. We have grants written and we have a volunteer who writes these grants alongside our board but we need to double our efforts because we want to expand and are not able to do so with our current financial structure. We have access to Grantstation for searching and have eager board members to help in any way we can.
