SOLABTT is on a mission to elevate South Los Angeles as a cultural and historic powerhouse, and we need your design expertise to make it happen! South LA boasts a rich tapestry of cultures, vibrant art scenes, and untold historical narratives. However, its tourism potential remains largely untapped. A captivating website will be our digital storefront, attracting visitors and showcasing the unique experiences South LA offers. By redesigning our website, you'll be at the forefront of: Elevating South LA's Image: Your redesign will be the first impression for potential visitors. Re-creating our website that reflects the dynamism and cultural richness of South LA. Empowering Local Businesses: The website will feature cultural institutions, restaurants, and events. Your redesign will be instrumental in driving tourism dollars to local businesses. Preserving History & Culture: Our redesigned website will serve as a platform to share South LA's stories. Help us celebrate the area's heritage and educate the world. Why is this a good investment of your time? You'll be directly contributing to South LA's economic and cultural growth. Work with a passionate team dedicated to community development. This is more than just a website; it's a chance to be part of a movement shaping the future of South LA. Join us, and let's unlock the tourism potential of this incredible region! We are seeking volunteers with experience in web redesign. Our current site needs to be updated since it was first created in 2022. We will provide the volunteer with our existing mission, vision, or value statement plus other relevant background materials. We have clearly defined stakeholders and will provide that information to our volunteer partner. We have designated members of our team available to work with the volunteer(s) on this project. We already have content for our site with defined goals, target audience, functionalities, and timeline. We have already gathered and prepared text, images, and media content for the website. We already have some structuring and organizing of the website's content for optimal user experience and navigation. We have the website's visual elements, including layout, color scheme, and typography. We must implement the website relaunch, making the website publicly available on the internet. SOLABTT will bring hosting of the site inhouse so we can fix bugs, update content and monitoring website performance immediately. As a destination marketing organization, we are ready with marketing and promotion to drive traffic to the website through various marketing and promotional channels.
